sitemap.xml

sitemap.xml is an XML file listing all your important URLs that you submit to search engines to speed up and clarify indexing.

A sitemap doesn't guarantee indexing, but raises the odds. It matters most for large sites (10k+ pages), new sites without internal linking, or deep-hierarchy sites. Register the sitemap URL in Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster — that's the simplest channel.
